Does it make sense to write an about here?

What can I say in a few words on this page when this entire blog is just me telling you about my life in all its mundane glory?

But, to please the Gods of Search Engines, here goes!

I am Messed-up Medusa, and my parents obviously did not name me that. I started writing this blog around the time I was 19, and I even gave it its current name, Shiny Objects in the Trash. This is probably one brainwave in my teens that I stick by today.

Though I didn't intend it that way, this blog has become a time capsule that has chronicled my life from then to now. I write about life, its various stages, marriage, motherhood, and all the other aarrrgghh and oooohh moments that I face.

If you are someone who likes to read about people, who likes that feeling of validation that comes from another person having the same common or obscure experience as you, or if you are someone who likes Chennai an almost unhealthy amount, you will feel at home here.
